Mitanshu P2P Engine operates on a strict Peer-to-Peer (P2P) architecture using WebRTC technology. This means your files move directly from your device to the receiver's device. We do not have servers to store your files. We cannot see, read, or access your data even if we wanted to.
We collect absolutely zero personal data. No names, no email addresses, and no phone numbers are stored. The "Peer ID" generated is temporary and exists only within your browser session.
To establish a connection between two devices, a minimal amount of "signaling data" (like IP candidates) passes through a broker server (PeerJS). This data is transient, encrypted, and is discarded immediately after the connection is established.
We do not use tracking cookies. We may use your browser's local storage solely to cache application assets (via Service Worker) to make the app load faster offline.
"Privacy is not an option, it is the default setting."
